I'm thrilled with the new blog my dear friend Melissa West has created!. We hope you come back to visit with us often to see what new adventures we are having as we serve the Lord together. God is leading us through the greatest adventure of our lives. Not only has He allowed us to serve Him, but He's knit our family closer than we've ever been before and He's also allowed us to visit many of the places we've always dreamed of seeing! Serving God is NEVER boring.
JUNE: June was a refreshing month for our family. We finished up a packed winter/spring schedule with meetings in Pennsylvania and South Carolina the first week of June; And for the rest of the month we had meetings in MD! It was so nice to be able to be back at our home church for three Sunday mornings. What an encouragement to spend time with family and friends. The kids also had the opportunity to go to camp! It never ceases to amaze me how the Lord gives us exactly what we need, when we need it!
We were not able to fly down to the DR to set up our housing, but we were able to buy our beds! It's so exciting to know that we own furniture in the Dominican and that it's waiting for us there! We will be buying more furniture over the summer and are praying that the Lord allows to go set up our housing in the fall to prepare for the move this winter. Please be in prayer with us for this. There is much to prepare and get ready before then!
